India has achieved the first stage of agriculture growth through “Green revolution, White revolution, Blue revolution and Rainbow revolution making India second largest producer in the world. Now it is the time to meet the second stage development which is primarily to harness, save, and put into use various technologies in value addition by increasing shelf life & feeding the population in the off season at moderate price for agri produce, at the same time give worthy share of this to the grower. |
| The healthy economic agri business activities need to be activated in the field of value addition by grading & packing, safe holding by proper storage, increase in self life by proper cold storage facilities and introducing proper handling logistics. If activated will churn agro economic situation by creating self employment potential in rural areas. |
| This is where the program of ACABC training comes in picture. Motivating, educating on business management, activating rural youth who are agri & allied graduates & diploma holders and involving them in the process of nation building shall transform the land of drought into the land of abundance & will have fullest economic repercussion. These trained agripreneurs will be the service providers in this transformation. They will train farmers to grow more, store, distribute/market the produce into value added form & help them to realize more share from the consumer. At the same time this could be the answer to the unemployment of these youth on a larger presepective. |
